About Us

Tutor Basics SA was established four years ago with a clear purpose: to provide accessible, high-quality academic support to learners preparing for the Senior Certificate (Matric) examinations.

What began as a small online tutoring initiative has grown into a trusted online education provider, supporting learners across South Africa. Over the past four years, we have successfully prepared Senior Certificate candidates for their final examinations, helping learners improve subject understanding, build confidence, and achieve meaningful academic results.

Our school specialises in evening classes, recognising that many of our learners are working, repeating subjects, or balancing other commitments. Lessons are delivered online at night, allowing learners to study in a structured environment without disrupting their daytime responsibilities.

A key part of our success lies in our exam-focused approach. Learners receive targeted tuition aligned with the CAPS curriculum, regular revision sessions, and structured mock examinations that mirror final exam conditions. This prepares learners both academically and emotionally for the demands of the final Senior Certificate examinations.

Our purpose remains unchanged:
to support, guide, and equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed in their final examinations and to move forward into further studies, employment, or personal growth.

Our vision is to grow into a fully registered and accredited online school, recognised by SACAI and Umalusi, by the year 2027.

We provide structured CAPS-aligned teaching using tools such as Google Classroom, Google Meet, and Google Workspace, enabling interactive lessons, organised learning materials, regular assessments, and clear communication between teachers, learners, and parents.
